Welcome to the Teddy Project

Welcome to The Teddy Project. Begun in 2002 to celebrate the centennial of the National Wildlife Refuge System, The Teddy Project's mission is to share wildlife and wild places with urban youth by using the technologies they know and enjoy, such as short animated movies and commercials.

The Teddy Project is a fun and innovative partnership between the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service and The Art Institutes (AI), a system of 31 art schools located throughout the United States, to pair teams of media arts students at AI campuses in cities across the country with nearby national wildlife refuges, national fish hatcheries, and other Fish and Wildlife Service offices.
